Taylor's 5 months old!
It's been a while since our last post and a lot has been going on in Super Taylor's little world. Although we can't join our friends in claiming that Taylor's sleeping through the night, we can certainly boast about her latest adventures. A couple of weeks ago, while playing with her on our bed, Taylor found the energy (after several attempts) to turn over onto her belly! Unfortunately, Mommy didn't get to witness this milestone, but I'm sure she will the next time. Her latest endeavor is tackling solids...yummy! At first, of course, she didn't take to it so kindly, gagging and spitting it out, but after a few spoonfuls, she opens wide in anticipation of the next delicious mouthful. One warning to all parents who are at this stage....be aware of the sneeze factor. I recommend the adults wear a bib as well. Taylor is also quite the curious little one, always checking things out, reaching for objects and watching her friends play at daycare. To help stimulate her curiosity, Kristina brought home an exersaucer for Taylor to play in. Lot's of bells, lights, sounds, music, mirrors and objects for her to explore. Her coordination seems to improve every day.
Sitting on top of the world...Bumbo style!

Hmm...solids? Sure, I'll give it a try...
What the #$@%!
Oh, that wasn't so bad.

A Few of Taylor's Favorite Things

What a joy!
Taylor continues be the joy in our lives. Her sweet smiles are beginning to turn into small bursts of giggles and she's really comfortable sitting around, watching TV with her daddy. We're happy to report that Taylor's clogged tear duct is no longer an issue. We were able to clear it up after massaging an area between her eye and the bridge of her nose.
precious.

3 Months Old!
We've made it to the 3 month mark and all is well. Taylor's little personality is beginning to emerge, primarily in her cute little smile. Kristina has a special way she talks to her in this high-pitched-cute-and-squeaky-voice which makes Taylor grin from ear to ear. I'm able to capture her attention when singing twinkle twinkle little star, wiggling my fingers above her face as if it was a twinkling star. She's also beginning to discover her hands and tongue, and every now and then, she somehow is able to coordinate getting her binkie back into her mouth if it's fallen out. Lucky shot or amazing feat? The jury is still out on that one. But for the most part, Taylor is still the curious one, always looking around, eyebrows perked, ready to play with the world.
